Westport Equipment is proud to be the hire partner for Layher Allround Scaffolding. This German-manufactured and engineered system is the globally acknowledged leader in the system scaffolding market with a name that is synonymous with quality.
Since its launch in 1974 this original system has been undergoing continuous development and offers an impressive variety of use: on any construction site, in industry, chemical plants, power stations, shipyards and for events. As scaffolding for working, protection, façade work or support, as internal or birdcage scaffolding, or as rolling towers.
This system is well suited to large construction sites, pharmaceutical or high tech manufacturing sites, power stations & heavy industry. We are also seeing increasing use of the system particularly aluminium components in the retrofit markets for external insulation and solar PV. The system lends itself to rapid installation and lightweight aluminium options provide major savings in labour costs, transport and fuel.
Even with very difficult layouts and architectural styles and with the most stringent international safety requirements, Allround Scaffolding is the faster, safer and more economical solution.

The system will need significantly less labour for installation which means the site headcount will be lower which is a real benefit given the current shortages of skilled construction trades.

Westport Equipment have pioneered the use of Layher Allround in the Civil Engineering market.
Our business development team have long experience in equipment supply to the civil engineering market with a focus on temporary works and shoring.
This allows us to see the possibilities of using Layhers modular system to solve common problems encountered on civil engineering sites, these include.
